Dr. Peter Rasor is the Senior Pastor of Lilburn Christian Church and an adjunct professor of philosophy at Grand Canyon University. With advanced degrees in philosophy and theology, he brings both academic insight and pastoral wisdom to his writing and teaching on worldview and ethics.

Statement of Faith

The Nature of God

We believe in one God—the holy, infinitely perfect Creator of all things—who eternally exists in a loving unity of three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
The Authority of Scripture

We believe that God has spoken through the Scriptures—the inspired and authoritative Word of God—both Old and New Testaments. Through the words of human authors, God has revealed His will for salvation. When rightly interpreted, the Bible is the ultimate authority for all areas of human knowledge, life, and practice.
The Human Condition

We believe that all people are sinners by nature and by choice—alienated from God and under His just judgment. Only through the saving work of Jesus Christ can humanity be rescued, reconciled, and renewed.
The Person of Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate—fully God and fully man—in one Person with two natures. He lived a sinless life, was crucified under Pontius Pilate, rose bodily from the grave, ascended into heaven, and now sits at the right hand of God the Father as our High Priest and Advocate.
The Work of Christ on the Cross

We believe that Jesus, as our representative and substitute, shed His blood on the cross as the perfect and all-sufficient sacrifice for our sins.
The Ministry of the Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ in all He does. He convicts the world of sin, regenerates sinners, and indwells, enlightens, guides, equips, and empowers believers for Christ-like living and faithful service.
The Church

We believe that the true Church is made up of all who have been justified by God’s grace through faith alone in Christ alone. United by the Holy Spirit, they form the body of Christ, of which He is the Head.
Sanctification and Mission.
We believe that God's justifying grace is never separated from His sanctifying power and purpose. Through the Word of God, the power of the Holy Spirit, and prayer in Christ’s name, believers are called to engage in spiritual warfare and to obey Christ’s Great Commission—making disciples of all nations and living as witnesses to the Gospel in both word and deed.
The Return of Christ

We believe in the personal, visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ. This blessed hope inspires believers toward godly living, sacrificial service, and passionate mission.
The Call to Respond to the Gospel
We believe that God commands everyone, everywhere to respond to the Gospel—by turning to Him in repentance and receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
