In our previous two installments (See Part 1 & Part 2) we considered the charges against Trump and levied our own heavily sourced charges against the Harris administration and campaign, but we are not finished. Much more could be said about the moral and political deficiencies of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. For instance, Harris was recently endorsed by the pornography industry, something you won’t read about from the “Evangelicals for Harris” community while they, at the same time, condemn Trump for the sexual escapades of his past. The moral character of both presidential candidates is deeply flawed.
However, our more pressing concern is in policy considerations for the future. While character certainly matters, policy affects our neighbor and whether we like it or not one of these two low character nominees will be president in 2025. Even if the aforementioned policies (see Part 2) somehow do not convince one of Kamala Harris’s more communistic leanings perhaps dissecting her family history and current campaign slogans will tip the scales.
Kamala Harris’s father, Donald J. Harris worked as a professor at Stanford University and wrote a book in the 1970s called Capital Accumulation and Income Distribution. In the book he argued for a synthesized economy based on the Monetarism theories of David Ricardo, Michal Kalecki and Karl Marx himself. Interestingly, it was Ricardo’s theory on labor that Marx embraced and Marx’s theory of uprising of the common folk that Kalecki broadened. In other words, Harris’s father was, indeed, influenced greatly by Marxian thought and his economic theories reflected this. Thus, Kamala Harris has been around these theories her whole life. Keep that in mind as we quickly dissect two of Kamala Harris’s favorite slogans.
“We’re not going back, we’re going forward together”.
Some might think this is just a cheap recreation of President Obama’s 2008 “Change” slogan, but it is so much more than that. The question could be, and should be, asked, what exactly does Kamala Harris mean by “not going back”? Also what kind of “forward” is she talking about? What goals does she want to make progress towards? Given her policy prescriptions one can make an informed guess, but one need not make a guess when the truth is there right before our eyes.
In 2021 the Communist Party USA’s slogan was “we’re not going back.” In fact, since 2018 the party has written numerous articles that reflect the tone of Harris’s campaign when she shouts the words from a podium. Marxists and communists have used this refrain for decades to point to the need for revolution and a remaking of our society to shed the shackles of the bourgeoisie.
Note Rosanna Cambron’s (proud affiliate of the CP-USA) closing remarks in a speech delivered in 2021:
“We as a Party would like to invite those who are not yet members to join us to collectively work to achieve a more democratic, humane, and sustainable society. We’re not going back . . . Forward Together!”
Now consider Kamala Harris’s comments in an acceptance speech at the DNC just over a month ago:
“America, we are not going back. We are charting. A. New. Way. Forward.”
But perhaps this is just a coincidence? After all, these are fairly innocuous words that many people might put together. But when combined with another of her favorite phrases on the campaign trail one might need to consider the possibility that Kamala Harris knows exactly what she is doing.
“What can be. Unburdened by what has been.”
Another seemingly meaningless statement but it is not meaningless at all. Consider atheist academic Eric Weinstein’s, who should not be confused as a conservative, insight on it:
“…There's a line in Marx where… sometimes you hear certain phrases like when AOC (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) uses the phrase “We Have A World to Win” which comes from the end of the communist manifesto originally written in German. I used to hang out in the Revolutionary bookstore in Cambridge Massachusetts with the Communists because they print everything in every language so if you're trying to learn multiple languages they'll print the same text in all of these languages and you can compare. It basically says you have to wipe out what has been to arrive in the new and where’s it from what can be unburdened by what has been. It's not a direct translation but it occurs in Karl Marx.”
This very concept, the concept of unshackling from the past of oppression so that we can embrace the revolution of the future is Marxian thought through and through. It is a revolutionary language intended to omit the past and embrace the classless and stateless future. Is Kamala Harris intentionally repeating this Marxian adjacent rhetoric? Perhaps not, but the fact that the lines and dots connect should not be ignored. Books could be written concerning these disturbing connections (like Tim Walz stating "One person's socialism is another person's neighborliness") . We have only scratched the surface here. Suffice it to say that it seems, at least to us, that the Harris/Walz ticket is either
actively
or
accidentally
forwarding policies that, taken to their logical ends, are designed to usher in Communistic style governance. Only the bulwark of our constitution and system of checks and balances (systems that Harris seems bent on “reforming”) would stand in the way.
The Policies of Harris & Walz
2024 is a very unique election as the policies Trump and Vance advance do not seem to be that much different from those that Bill Clinton advanced in 1992. The policies advanced by the modern-day Democrat machine in 2024, however, are to the extreme left of Bill Clinton in 1992 and even Barack Obama in 2008.
Given their platforms in 92 and 08, although we would not vote for them based upon abortion alone (at least Clinton said abortion should be "rare"), we can see how a Christian could have cast a vote in 92 or 08 for the Democrat Party as the two parties shared much more in common back in the good old days.
Interestingly, I (Stratton) left the Republican Party in 07 because I opposed George W. Bush's leadership. I became a free thinking registered Independent. With that said, as Dr. Robert A.J. Gagnon has recently stated, it is a sin of commission to vote for Harris/Walz and it seems to be a sin of omission to fail to cast an effective vote against them. As noted above, a vote for Harris/Walz is a vote for:
*State-sponsored child abuse through the trans cult (chemical castration and surgical mutilation of minors).
This is enough to be a single-issue voter.
*An unhindered death cult of abortion for all 9 months (with a bonus infanticide for babies who survive botched abortions)
This is enough to be a single-issue voter.
*The weaponization of the Justice Department to go after states that do not protect "reproductive freedom."
This is enough to be a single-issue voter.
*The scandal and harm to females of putting males in female private spaces (bathrooms, locker rooms, shelters, prisons) and sports.
This is enough to be a single-issue voter.
*A radical reduction of free speech and free exercise of religion (including compelled speech) as regards any criticism of "LGBTQ+" immorality and abortion.
This is enough to be a single-issue voter.
*State abduction of your minor child if parents do not support the child's "LGBTQ" identification to the state's satisfaction.
This is enough to be a single-issue voter.
*The legalization of school officials lying to parents about their child's "trans" identification and use of cross-gender hormones.
This is enough to be a single-issue voter.
*Using a parent's non-support for their child's "LGBTQ+" identification as a reason to deny to that parent custody in a divorce settlement.
This is enough to be a single-issue voter.
*Persecution of one's chief political opponent as though the US were a Banana Republic.
This is enough to be a single-issue voter.
*Forced "LGBTQ+" indoctrination with accompanying threat to educational and employment opportunities.
This is enough to be a single-issue voter.
*Jailing of pro-life protestors and whistle blowers at hospitals doing chemical castration and mutilation surgery on minors.
This is enough to be a single-issue voter.
*Loss of federal student loans and ultimately loss of accreditation for Christian schools that do not promote "LGBTQ" immorality.
This is enough to be a single-issue voter.
*Massive election cheating through illegal immigration that threatens to result in a one-Party state nationally after the model of California.
This is enough to be a single-issue voter.
*Nomination and appointment of court justices who have no problem with legislating far-Left from the bench and overriding constitution protections.
This alone might be the most important reason to actually vote for Trump and Vance!
*Higher inflation and national debt through expansion of the social welfare state.
This is enough to be a single-issue voter.
And don’t get us started about Harris and Walz seeking to disarm the population (a typical move of dictators). Make no mistake: both the Republican Party and the Democrat Party have moved to the left. This brings the modern-day Republican Party look like something along the lines of the Democrat Party from the 1990s. The Democrats, on the other hand, have sprinted to the far left (making liberals from just a few years ago look like modern-day conservatives). They are not the same Democrat Party that existed in the 90s. It has become infected by Marxism, and it is antithetical to both America's philosophical foundations and the Law of Christ. All Christ followers have an obligation to actively oppose the monstrosity the Democrat Party has become as it advances great objective evil policies that will wreak havoc upon the neighbors we are commanded to love. For these reasons (and more) we will use all our power to oppose the objective evil Harris and Walz seek to advance. We are not blind devotees to Trump, but we do seek to Make American Godly Again (MAGA). We will vote for Trump and Vance. We will continue to use our voices and our platform to equip others to reason together (Isaiah 1:18) on these moral and ethical matters. Given the policies advanced by the Democrat Party and made even worse by Harris and Walz, it’s clear that it’s impossible for an informed and
consistent
Christ follower to cast a vote for Harris and Walz. Moreover, in an effort to protect the neighbors Jesus commands us to love from these evil policies we believe Christ followers ought to use all of their God-given power to cast an effective vote to oppose the agenda (one that we have elucidated in these letters) forwarded by Harris/Walz. Furthermore, we believe, given the state of our nation, the structure of our republic, and the viable options before us, that the most effective way to do this is to cast a vote for Donald Trump and JD Vance (consider this parable making the point).
The policies advanced by Harris and Walz do not love our neighbors and are the tip of the iceberg as the list of evils goes on and on and while there may be some tempted to "play the long game" to wait for better candidates or send a message with their vote or lack thereof, we believe that these considerations, while well intentioned, miss the immediate danger set before us. It has become clear that Harris/Walz will seek to grab power by augmenting the supreme court, introducing new states like D.C. and Puerto Rico, and killing the filibuster to institute access to abortion without restrictions as federal law. Yes, we will have elections after this one, the question is, will those elections provide a better avenue forward or not? Are we willing to take that risk in the short term?
As noted above, although each of the following alone provides justification to be a “single-issue voter,” consider a cumulative case of reasons to oppose anyone representing the modern-day DNC:
abortion (on demand with no limits)
Transing (mutilating) confused kids
violating parental rights
the LGBTQ+ agenda
appointing Leftist judges to SCOTUS
weakening the American military
open and non-secure borders
prosecution of peaceful Christians singing hymns in protest of abortion (11 years in prison)
infringing the 2A
critical race theory, D.E.I., and Marxist ideology
unstable foreign policy (consider that there were no wars under Trump and the Democrat Party has brought global instability and to the verge of WWIII.
Assault on Free Speech
a horrible economy impacting average Americans trying to feed their families and put gas in their car.
The list could go on.
Become an Informed Voter
Consider one more important piece of advice: Do not be a low information voter!
Moments after Joe Biden finally dropped out of the race, and tacitly admitted that he was not fit for the presidency, David French’s wife jumped at the chance to endorse Kamala Harris for president. French wrote that she “prefers to vote for a prosecutor over a felon.”
Someone replied, “Why not say you are voting for one adulterer over the other adulterer?”
French answered, “What do you mean?”
Apparently, French is a low-info voter who’s not even aware of the numerous problems with Kamala and all her sexual baggage. This person has a platform and is using it to influence the masses, but she has not done her due diligence.
Historian Dr. Michael R. Licona recently made a great point:
“If you were like many in the mainstream media, surprised by President Biden’s performance at the debate to a point of beginning to question his mental competence, you should consider changing the news networks on which you rely, because they have prevented you from seeing the abundant evidence of President Biden’s declining mental capacity, which has been all over the Internet and on multiple news agencies for several years. I plead with you: Don’t make the same mistake with VP Harris. There is every bit as much evidence on YouTube and on multiple news agencies that show she is grossly incompetent as well. You may be more comfortable with higher violent crime in the U.S., a world on fire, and a higher cost of living than with a Trump presidency. But consider this: If the mainstream media has deceived you with Biden and Harris, can you trust them to be honest and transparent with you related to Former President Trump, especially when so much of what they have accused him of in the past has been proven false?”
We agree with Licona. If you were surprised about Biden’s mental state (as the majority of the legacy media pretended to be), then you need to reconsider your source of news. Ben Shapiro and The Daily Wire, for example, have highlighted the decline of Biden’s cognitive faculties for over three years.
Sadly, far-too-often when we are attempting to reason with those who see things differently, when we provide links to the Daily Wire, Fox News, or Prager U (not to mention FreeThinking Ministries), we are offered the following in response:
“I’m not even going to look at anything from those conservative outlets!”
This “Never Trump” mindset (some have referred to it as “Trump Derangement Syndrome”) hardens a person’s mind and makes it impossible to reason together (Isaiah 1:18). In epistemological circles, we refer to this as "indirect doxastic voluntarism." One's free choices to not even consider looking at counter-evidence and argumentation determines (hardens) a person's beliefs (although they could have and should have reached other conclusions).
There is such a thing as culpable ignorance.
Don’t be found guilty! We agree with Taylor Swift, we should do our homework, only, it would seem if we do we will come to a reasonably radically different position than she did. Become informed. Be willing to get your news from those you believe are on the “other side.” Don’t live in an echo chamber. Then, when you gain knowledge, use your vote and your voice for truth!
“My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge . . .” (Hosea 4:6)
Conclusion
Americans have three options in 2024 and none of them are perfect. Two of them bring extreme evil upon your neighbors Jesus commanded you to love (Mark 12:30-31), the other is a vote for Donald Trump.
I have no doubt that the hearts of most Never Trumpers are in the right place. Upon deeper analysis, however, their minds seem to be in the wrong place as their stance ultimately does not love their suffering neighbors and is opposed to the Law of Christ.
Make no mistake: If you are a “Never Trumper,” we are not attacking your character (most of you have awesome moral character are very nice people), in fact, for many of you it is your character that has led you to hold this position. We are, however, respectfully challenging your use of reason. We are inviting you to be a free thinker and reconsider your past thought processes. Please carefully evaluate how you arrived at your current convictions and beliefs. We are inviting you to evaluate data you may have previously not considered. We are inviting you to bracket your feelings for the sake of facts. We are inviting you to take your thoughts captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5), before bad thinking takes you captive (Colossians 2:8), and you help to usher (or fail to use all of your power to actively oppose) horrible evils upon your neighbors.
This is not an attempt to bind your conscience; it is, however, an invitation to be a good “free thinker” and to re-think important matters as we “reason together” (Isaiah 1:18) about how we use our votes and our voices that have a tremendous impact on the neighbors Jesus commanded us to love.
13
For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature
. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.
14
For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Gal 5:13-14).
It seems to us that the best way to serve and love your neighbors is to use your God-given power of one vote and a loud voice to actively oppose the evil modern-day Democrat machine which will most likely harm our neighbors. I (Josh Klein) am usually hesitant about tying my name to these sorts of things, I want to talk about other things, not politics. But the political has become theological and I must stand with the best opportunity to grant freedom for the next generation of young Christians. One such young Christian I think of is my son. I want to be able to look him in the eye, even if the worst happens, and tell him that I did what I could with the position God had given me. That is how I look at all aspects of life, including the political.
This is what we are doing. We invite you to join the resistance.
We invite you to vote for Trump and Vance in 2024.
In truth and love (Ephesians 4:15),
Dr. Tim Stratton and Josh Klein

This is because it is possible for a saved person to sin. In these situations, when a true Christian sins, they are not living consistently with the Law of Christ. Harris seeks to codify abortion into law despite the ruling of the Supreme Court (https://www.aclu.org/news/reproductive-freedom/how-kamala-harris-can-secure-federal-abortion-protection-once-and-for-all). Walz signed a bill into law allowing abortion to take place up until the moment of birth, for any reason whatsoever (https://apnews.com/article/abortion-politics-minnesota-state-government-timothy-walz-11c3b1d5269c929e442b979ff1bac73b), on January 31, 2023. Amendment a moral issue, I do believe it belongs on this list. I do think it’s a moral issue as the first thing those who seek to violate human rights is to disarm the humans they seek to harm. A great movie based upon history that highlights the importance of “We The People” being armed enough to fight a tyrannical government is called “Defiance.” Daniel Craig stars in this 2008 war film and played the role of Tuvia Bielski—the leader of the Bielski partisans. They fought against the Nazis in the forests of Belarus during World War II, saving over 1,200 people. This was initially made possible because Tuvia was able to get his hands on one pistol with four bullets. Those four bullets made it possible to get many more guns and save so many lives. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-09-06/kamala-harris-supports-mandatory-buyback-of-assault-weapons?embedded-checkout=true Speaking of Marxist ideology, Tim Walz set up a hotline for Minnesotans to report their neighbors for not adhering to his strict COVID guidelines. These are the actions of a totalitarian. https://reason.com/2024/08/06/tim-walz-was-a-covid-19-tyrant/ Since economists differ on how to define a strong economy, perhaps better here and above to instead note the high inflation that has impacted the prices of everything from groceries to housing. https://www.bankrate.com/banking/federal-reserve/wage-to-inflation-index/?tpt=ahttps://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/onpolitics/2019/01/27/willie-brown-kamala-harris-san-francisco-chronicle-letter/2695143002/ ; https://nypost.com/2024/10/02/us-news/doug-emhoff-accused-of-forcefully-slapping-nyc-girlfriend-for-flirting-with-other-man-at-ritzy-gala-in-2012-report/ ; https://www.cnn.com/2024/08/03/politics/doug-emhoff-acknowledges-affair-during-first-marriage/index.html
